Dennis and Thea are semi-retired having pastored full gospel churches for 32 years. Christian interests include involvement in local church and occasional speaking engagements as well as meetings in their own home.
Dennis enjoys golf and carpentry work. He can often be found tinkering around in his shop with one project or another. There always seems to be something new to wrap some duct tape around. A master storyteller, he can hold his 5 grandchildren spellbound while he weaves his tales of adventure and daring, usually creating them as he goes.
Thea enjoys gardening and herbs. Each spring finds her filling her garden boxes with as many vegetable plants as can possibly fit. Her Dutch heritage and love of cooking has produced many a mouth-watering delight such as family favorites “wentelteefjes” (known to us english speaking ones as Cinnamon turnovers), “eierpannenkoeken” (Real Dutch pancakes) and “hutspot” (Dutch Boiled Dinner). She also enjoys sewing, decorating, reading and music.
